The migrating Sandhill Cranes are returning to the Platte River Valley and Direct-Edit is selling copies of “Sanctuary: Sandhill Cranes on the Platte River”. Sanctuary, directed and edited by Bryan Hagar, was produced in support of the work being done by the Audubon Society at the Lillian Annette Rowe Bird Sanctuary in Gibbon, Nebraska. Denver is not Hollywood and yet we are always amazed at the caliber of talent that walks into our doors. When Carlos Bidos brought us his footage for Illegal Witness we were truly impressed. Shot entirely in Colorado, “Illegal Witness” has enjoyed remarkable success in international distribution.

Office Pirates was a great experiment by Time, Inc., an attempt to target young men with desk jobs with a website full of original content and humor. Direct-Edit produced 100 original films for the site which received quite a bit of scrutiny and commentary from the New York publishing crowd. The site attracted over 11 million unique viewers.

Our tribute to the Rowe Sanctuary near Kearney Nebraska where 500,000 Sandhill Cranes migrate each year. The film has appeared in several wildlife film festivals and a significant portion of DVD sales are given to the sanctuary.
