Direct-Edit has completed production on a third commercial in a public service campaign for the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis based in San Jose, California. The spots feature country western singer / song writer Joe Nichols who lost his father Mike to Pulmonary Fibrosis, an incurable disease. The commercials tell how Joe’s loyal fans started the Mike Nichols foundation to help support the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis and to accelerate research that will someday find a cure for this terminal disease. Teresa Barns, Vice president of outreach and advocacy for the CPF, served as executive producer. Bryan Hagar directed and edited. Please check out the Coalition’s website at www.coalitionforpf.org and consider contributing to this very worthwhile organization.
